Hartford Hospital’s LIFE STAR Reaccredited

LIFE STAR was recently reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), which reviews the program on a regular basis.

Since the program began in 1985, it has airlifted tens of thousands to safety, saving countless lives.

“Site surveyors completed a full audit and Hartford Hospital’s LIFE STAR program was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation,” said Eileen Frazer, Executive Director of CAMTS. “LIFE STAR has maintained accreditation since the Accreditation program began in 2003. We will be back in 2021 for reaccreditation.”
