We are very grateful to the organizations, corporations and individuals who choose to give to SVSNS. These gifts are the riches that enable us to make an excellent program even better, to provide quality services to more individuals, and to acquire the technology that gives greater independence to many children and adults whom it is our Mission to assist.

Your gift to SVSNS is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. SVSNS is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

If you wish, you may designate your gift to benefit a specific program or for a special purpose.

There is always a need for adaptive and therapeutic equipment, and donors frequently request that their donations be used for equipment. Designated equipment donations can range from $25 to several hundred or thousand dollars, and be used to purchase equipment on a wide spectrum from an adapted toy for a child unable to play with a toy in the conventional manner to an electronic voice synthesizer that "speaks" for a student physically unable to give voice to his needs and his feelings.

Support is also needed for scholarship assistance for children to attend adapted community recreation programs and summer camp.

SVSNS is frequently chosen as the beneficiary of gifts "in memory of" or "in honor of" loved ones or friends.

Friends in the corporate and business community who choose to be associated with supporting a specific event are invited to contact us about the many ways they can support the annual "LAST BASH of Summer" Dinner-Dance, an event that attracts over 300 guests each year and has raised $400,000 since 1993. Proceeds are used for adaptive and therapeutic equipment in SVSNS programs.

We also welcome inquiries from individuals or businesses wishing to donate selected pieces of "gently-used" home furnishings, e.g., sofas, recliners, tables, chairs, etc., office furnishings, computers and associated hardware.
