ASSISTANT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Children's Residential Services
Under Operations Coordinator and Nurse Manager, supervises group home direct care staff and residential activities to ensure that individuals served receive services which are high quality, efficient, effective, and consistent with current professional practices. Coordinates staff schedules and ensures adequate staff coverage. Coordinates orientation and trainings of all newly hired personnel.
CHILD CARE ASSISTANT
KIDS CONNECTIONS Child Care Program
Under the direction of the Teacher, implement assigned instructional activities with small groups or individual students.
GROUP HOME MANAGER
Adult Residential Services
Must be a high energy dedicated individual to manage day-to-day functions in an adult group home. Selection, training and scheduling of staff. BA/BS degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field or comparable experience.
DIRECT CARE COUNSELOR
Adult Residential Services
Under direction of Group Home Manager, assist adult residents in performing personal care and activities of daily living in the home and community environments. Transport residents to day program and community activities. Support residents in normal operations of home environment for six individuals, e.g., cleaning, meal prep, shopping, etc. Must be capable of obtaining Public Service driver's license and Certification inmedications Administration.
DIRECT CARE COUNSELOR
Children's Residential Services
Under Operations Coordinator, providing nurturing, care and foster parenting to children in residence appropriate to their developmental needs. Transport children to school and community activities. Maintain housekeeping of hom, e.g., cooking, laundry, shopping, cleaning, etc.
EDUCATION ASSISTANT
School Program
Under the direction of classroom Special Education Teacher, implement assigned instructional activities with small groups or individual students. Assist in providing personal care to students, i.e., feeding, toileting, transporting, etc. Assist in general housekeeping in classroom. Some positions may require driving responsibilities.
INSTRUCTOR
Adult Day Services
Assess program participants and develop individual goals and objectives appropriate to participant's abilities and preferences. Implement daily schedule of activities that are instructional and motivating. Maintain supportive paperwork for participants and program activities.
JOB COACH
Adult Day Services
Support participants in performing work activities either in center-based environment or in community employment with same responsibilities as Instructor. (see definition under Instructor.)
NURSING SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2nd & 3rd shifts)
Children's Residential Services
Assesses the performance of employees and provides effective operational supervision and support to assigned staff in a children's residential home. Evaluates and interprets resident health data in order to plan and implement appropriate nursing intervention. At least one year experience working with children with developmental disabilities. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (RN). Previous supervisory experience helpful.
NURSE MANAGER (day shift)
Children's Residential Services
Assesses the performance of employees and provides effective operational supervision and support to assigned staff in a children's residential home. Evaluates and interprets resident health data in order to plan and implement appropriate nursing intervention. At least one year experience working with children with developmental disabilities. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (RN). Previous supervisory experience helpful.

Under Nurse Manager, provide nursing services appropriate to the needs of the residents. Support staff in creating a caring and nurturing environment for children.
OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Under Nurse Manager, supervises group home direct care staff and residential activities to ensure that individuals served receive services which are high quality, efficient, effective, and consistent with current professional practices. Coordinates staff schedules and ensures adequate staff coverage. Coordinates orientation and trainings of all newly hired personnel. Maintains resident funds and petty cash in accordance with agency policies. Recommends appropriate staffing patterns and physical plant needs necessary to meet the needs of individuals served and to comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
HOUSEKEEPING AIDE
Children's Residential Services
Part time position responsible for maintaining a clean, antiseptic and safe environment in a residential home. Performs cleaning functions including dusting, vacuuming, laundry, etc. in an efficient and timely manner. Previous housekeeping experience required. High school diploma or GED. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must be reliable and on-time.
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
School Program
Under direction of School Nursing Administrator, provide nursing services to one or more students, including GI feedings, respiratory care, medication administration, etc.
PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
Adult Day Services
Supervises Adult Day Services' activities to ensure that individuals served receive services which are high quality, efficient, effective, and consistent with current professional practices. High School diploma or GED and 5 years experience in programs serving persons with developmental disabilities.
PROGRAM ASSISTANT/DRIVER
Adult Day Services
Under direction of Program Instructor or Job Coach, implement individualized program activities and create opportunities for enhancing the cognitive and life skills of adults with developmental disabilities. Transport participants to and from program and into community for interactive experiences. Assist in general housekeeping of assigned program area.
REGISTERED NURSE
Adult Residential Services
Provide consultative services to residents of group homes.

Most positions provide direct care to either children or adults with developmental disabilities and many may require a public service license or ability to obtain one. Positions are available in various locations: Trumbull, Stratford, Stamford, Norwalk, Shelton, Monroe, Bridgeport.
